Courtyard

West Austin tennis, lake lifestyle, on the peninsula at Bull Creek and Lake Austin.

Courtyard is one of West Austin's most distinguished neighborhoods. Known for its appealing homes, premier tennis facilities, and lake lifestyle, this community is ideally situated on the northwest peninsula created by the convergence of Bull Creek and Lake Austin (Lower Colorado River).

Development began in the late 1970s, with the Courtyard Tennis and Swim Club opening in 1983, shortly after the Pennybacker Bridge opened in 1982. The neighborhood occupies what was formerly the Tom Wooten Boy Scout Camp, with street names reflecting this heritage.

Homes average just north of 3,000 square feet, 4 bedrooms, and 3 bathrooms, most with brick or stone exteriors, high-end kitchens, luxurious bathrooms, and outdoor entertainment spaces. The community is situated primarily in the 78731 zip code, approximately 9 miles from downtown Austin.

Schools

Students attend Highland Park Elementary (K-5), Lamar Middle (6-8), and McCallum High (9-12) through Austin ISD.
