Privacy Policy

This policy explains what SR Group collects through this website, what we do with it, and how to ask us to delete it. It is written to be read rather than to be survived.
Who we are
SR Group is a team of real estate agents affiliated with Compass. The licensed broker is Compass RE Texas, LLC, Texas broker license 9006927. Our office is at 2500 Bee Caves Rd, Bldg 3, Ste 200, Austin, TX 78746. You can reach us at info@srgcompass.com or 512.993.4663.
What we collect
Information you give us. When you submit a form on this site we collect your name and email address, which are required, and your phone number and message, which are optional. We also record which topic you selected.
Information about how you arrived. Every form submission records the page you submitted it from, the referring website if there was one, and any campaign parameters (UTM tags) present in the link you followed. We use this to understand which pages and campaigns are useful, and, on an agent's profile page, to route your enquiry to that agent rather than a general inbox.
What we do not collect. This site runs no advertising trackers, no third-party analytics, no advertising pixels, and no cookies of our own. We do not build a profile of your browsing, and we do not fingerprint your device. Our web host records standard server logs, including IP addresses, as part of serving and protecting the site.
How we use it
We use what you send us to respond to your enquiry and to provide real estate services you have asked about. That includes contacting you by phone, text message, and email, including at the number you provide, which is what the consent line under the submit button refers to.
Message and data rates may apply to texts. You can opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP, and out of emails using the unsubscribe link or simply by telling us. Consent to be contacted is not a condition of any purchase or sale, and withdrawing it does not affect our willingness to work with you.
We also use the aggregate picture of which pages produce enquiries to decide what to build and improve on this site.
Who else sees it
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
We do share it with service providers who make the business run, and only as far as that requires:
- Netlify, which hosts this website and receives and stores form submissions
- Compass, our brokerage, whose systems we use for client and transaction management
- Email and phone providers used to reply to you
- Transaction parties such as title companies, lenders, and inspectors, where you have engaged us and the transaction requires it
We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as needed to respond and to maintain the client relationship. Where a transaction results, Texas law and brokerage record-keeping obligations require us to retain transaction records for a defined period, and we keep them for that period. Enquiries that never become transactions are deleted on request, and we periodically clear old ones that went nowhere.
Your choices
Email info@srgcompass.com and ask, and we will:
- Tell you what we hold about you
- Correct anything that is wrong
- Delete it, other than records we are legally required to retain
- Stop contacting you, by any or all channels
You do not need to cite a law to make any of these requests, and we will not make you work for it. Texas residents have rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, and we honour equivalent requests from anyone regardless of where they live.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
This site is served over HTTPS and form submissions are encrypted in transit. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send anything highly sensitive, such as a Social Security number, bank details, or a copy of an identity document, through a web form. If we need something like that during a transaction, we will tell you a secure way to send it.
Other sites
This site links out to Compass, Zillow, Google, the LCRA, school districts, the Texas Department of Insurance, and our own DestinationATX.com and SearchLakehouses.com, among others. Once you follow a link you are on their site under their policy, not ours.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Material changes to how we use information you have already given us will be communicated directly rather than quietly published here.
